Get Involved with SupportUKtoday

SupportUKtoday is a UK‑wide community movement supporting mental health, homelessness and community wellbeing.  Whether you are a charity, venue, community organisation, business or an individual who simply wants to make a difference, there is a place for you here.

We are growing and we want you to be part of it from the very beginning. Register your interest below and help shape the future of something truly meaningful.

People often ask if we are like JustGiving or GoFundMe.  Below you'll find a clear breakdown showing how we differ and why SupportUKtoday is a movement, not a donation platform.

Are We Like JustGiving or GoFundMe?

We get asked this a lot.  The answer is simple: we share the same purpose, supporting good causes, but we work in a completely different way.

JustGiving and GoFundMe are donation platforms.  You donate once, to one cause and the journey ends there.

SupportUKtoday is a movement, not a donation platform.
You can support charities through:

  • campaigns
  • events and challenges
  • community activities
  • awareness and lived‑experience storytelling
  • merchandise
  • and even multiple charities at the same time

We reinvest part of the funds to grow the movement, build more campaigns, support more charities and create long‑term impact.

Because SupportUKtoday is a limited company, not a registered charity, we do not appear on JustGiving, GoFundMe or any other fundraising platforms.  For this reason, supporters are not permitted to use external fundraising platforms for any SupportUKtoday event or activity.

All registrations and donations must be made through our official branded domains so we can:

  • track event totals
  • maintain supporter identity
  • protect our branding
  • ensure transparency and accountability

Using the SupportUKtoday or S'port Me Today Identity

Anyone who is not officially registered with SupportUKtoday is not permitted to use the S'port Me Today identity in any form.  This includes the logo, domain, branding, colours, hashtags or supporter identity wording.

This rule protects the movement and prevents any unverified or false fundraising being carried out using our identity.

Even once registered, organisers may use the identity only for official SupportUKtoday events that are registered through our platform.  This ensures we can:

  • verify the organiser
  • track the event
  • record totals
  • ensure funds are transferred correctly
  • maintain full accountability

If you choose to use our identity at your event, all funds raised must be transferred into our official SupportUKtoday accounts, as we are responsible for tracking, reporting and distributing the funds to the chosen charities.

So yes, you can support charities through us, but we are far more than “just giving and GoFundMe.” We are a movement built on unity, lived experience and real‑world action.
