SupportUKtoday is a community support movement founded in Watford, working to bring people, businesses, venues, community organisations and existing causes together across the UK.
We believe that, whatever our circumstances or the causes we care about, we should have opportunities to connect, support one another and feel part of something bigger.
When people become isolated, communities become disconnected or a crisis affects everyday life, knowing where to turn and how to help can make a difference.
SupportUKtoday exists to help bring those connections together.
Through awareness, shared supporter identity, community activities and partnerships, we aim to create opportunities for people and organisations to work together while retaining their own identities and purposes.

S'port Me Today is the shared supporter identity within the SupportUKtoday movement.
It is for people who want to show their support for causes, campaigns and community activities without being restricted to one cause alone.
A supporter may care about mental wellbeing, homelessness, children, older people, carers, companion animals or several causes at once. Their circumstances and interests may change, but their connection to the movement can remain.
Through one shared identity, supporters can help raise awareness, share their stories and connect others with relevant causes and existing support.

The identity is intended to help people recognise their connection to the wider tree. Use of the S'port Me Today identity and associated branding is subject to the movement's registration, approval and brand-use arrangements.

A community is made up of people with different experiences, needs, abilities and ideas.
A business might offer a venue. A golf club might help host a community event. A café might provide a welcoming space. An organisation might share its expertise. A supporter might help someone discover a source of help.
Each contribution can be different. Together, they can create opportunities that might not exist otherwise.
SupportUKtoday wants to help make those connections possible, in everyday life and when communities face difficult times.
We are not a replacement for established charities, professional services or emergency services. We aim to raise awareness, encourage participation and signpost people towards appropriate existing support.
SupportUKtoday is a community movement, not a donation-processing platform. Where donations are involved, supporters should use the relevant charity's official channels.
